In order to ensure the personal safety of the operator during cleaning and maintenance, when we process and maintain the CNC lathe , we must cut off the power supply, and then follow the steps below to clean and maintain it. This is one of the reasons why CNC lathe processing has been widely used in the field of mechanical processing in recent years.


Generally, when maintaining CNC lathe processing, we will use lubricating oil. The lubricating oil suitable for CNC lathe processing and maintenance are generally: oil pouring lubrication, splashing oil lubrication, oil rope oil guide lubrication, bullet oil cup lubrication, butter cup lubrication, oil pump Oil transport lubrication, etc. The parts in the spindle box are circulated or splashed with an oil pump. The lubricant in the box is usually replaced every three months. There is an oil window on the spindle body. If there is no oil output in the oil window, it means that the oil pump oil transfer system is faulty. You should stop immediately to check the cause of the oil breakage. Only after repair can the lathe bench be started. In addition to being lubricated with gears and bearings in the feed box, there are also oil storage tanks on the feed box that are lubricated with oil ropes. Oil should be added to the oil storage tank once every shift. The intermediate gear shaft bearing of the exchange gear box is lubricated with butter cups, once per shift. The bed guide rails and skateboard guide rails must be cleaned before and after work and refueled with a grease gun.

After completing the processing tasks every day, the power must be cut off and the surface of the lathe, the cover, the guide rail surface, the lead screw, and the light rod must be cleaned without oil stains, iron filings, and the surface of the lathe.


The second step of daily cleaning and maintenance of CNC lathe processing

After completing the processing tasks every week, the cleaning and lubrication of the bed guide surface and the middle skateboard guide surface must be maintained. Usually, first-level maintenance is required after 500 hours of CNC lathe. The maintenance work is mainly carried out by operators and is carried out with the cooperation of the maintenance worker. Proceed in the following order and requirements:

First, carry out the spindle maintenance:

1. Clean the oil filter and make it free of debris;

2. Check whether the spindle lock nut is loose and whether the tightening screw is tight;

3. Adjust the gap between the brake and clutch friction plates.

Secondly, maintenance of the exchange gearbox:

1. Clean the gears and bushings, and inject new grease into the oil cup;

2. Adjust the meshing clearance of the gears;

3. Check whether the shaft sleeve is shaking.

Maintenance of tailstock: Maintain the tailstock by wiping the surface and adding oil to lubricate it.

Maintenance of lubrication system:

1. Clean the cooling pump and oil filter;

2. Ensure the oil circuit is unobstructed;

3. Check the oil quality and keep it well. (To ensure oil standard is the goal)

Maintenance of electrical appliances:

1. Clean dust on the motor and electrical box;

2. The electrical devices are fixed neatly.


Step 7 of daily cleaning and maintenance of CNC lathe processing

Exterior maintenance:

1. Clean the surface and cover of the CNC lathe to keep its inside and outside clean, free of rust or oil stains;

2. Check and fill all screws and handles. After cleaning and scrubbing, all parts are lubricated as necessary.
